ISA Group uses a proven approach to establish labour pools of overseas workers that are highly skilled and meet Australian immigration requirements.

As well as conducting ‘hands on’ testing of candidates overseas, we also arrange any required training and inductions while candidates are still offshore.

By the time recruits arrive in Australia, they are able to ‘hit the ground’ running.

Skilled Labour Pools

To meet the labour needs of large projects, ISA Group draws all its immigration, recruitment and HR expertise to establish a qualified pool of international candidates.

We can also assist large projects to obtain a Labour Agreement with the Australian Government to cover all international recruitment needs of a project, including sub-contractors.

The key to creating a skilled and proven labour pool is the thorough approach ISA Group uses in all stages of the recruitment process. This involves:

  • Advertising positions overseas.
  • Searching databases of our Philippines’ office and affiliated agents around the world for suitable candidates.
  • Screening and short-listing candidates.
  • Undertaking English testing and skills assessment using Australian registered training organisations to Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) standards.
  • Arranging training to Australian licensing standards for particular trades, as well as safety and other inductions, at overseas locations.
  • Organising medical examinations.
  • Organising safety, cultural and workplace inductions offshore.

"By verifying the claims of candidates through skills testing and providing training to Australian licensing standards trades and inductions offshore, we are able to ensure that candidates will be ‘work ready’ when they arrive at their work location. This approach has proven to be very cost-effective and provides employers with a great sense of confidence that their workers will be able to perform the roles they have been employed to do.”
