Introducing Kaushal Jhaveri
ISA Group migration agent, Kaushal Jhaveri, uses his own experience in moving to Australia to help others to do the same.
Originally from Mumbai in India, Kaushal studied for his MBA at Perth’s Curtin University in the late 1990’s. It was while he was on a student visa that he decided Perth was where he wanted to be for the long term.
After first working in the Western Australian Trade Office in Mumbai after completing his MBA, Kaushal landed a job in Perth with Education and Training International (ETI) as marketing manager. It was in this role, which involved promoting Western Australia to international students, that Kaushal’s interest in becoming a migration agent was born.
“I was regularly being asked questions about permanent visas and was keen to help having been through the process myself,” said Kaushal.
After first obtaining his Certificate in Australian Migration Law at Murdoch University, Kaushal joined ISA Group at the end of 2007 as its education and India sub-continent specialist. It was a move he hasn’t looked back on.
“It is very rewarding to help people from countries where opportunities may be limited to move to Australia. Having done it myself I know what the benefits are, and I aim to make the pathway as smooth as I can,” said Kaushal.
